Borealis GmbH is the controller of the processing of personal data. For the purposes of hosting webinars and events we process your first name, last name, e-mail address, company, department, country, title and date of the webinar/event; for webinars also IP address, device information and webinar metadata (e.g., time of registration, participation, attentiveness). The data processing is based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in organizing and implementing the webinar/event, in conducting follow-up activities (e.g., answering questions after the webinar; sending materials related to the webinar/event) and further development of webinars (e.g., creation of participant statistics on webinars over time, effectiveness of and interest in webinars). In the case of paid webinars, the organization and implementation are based on the contract performance (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). For organizing and implementing webinars, Borealis uses Demio, provided by Banzai International, Inc. (US) which whom Borealis has entered into a data processing agreement and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
